Eagle Store Digital Content Solution

Inclusive Access Banner Photo

All-Inclusive is a partnership between The Eagle Store, faculty, and publishers that provides textbook materials at a reduced cost automatically when a student enrolls in the course.

Pay Through Your EWU Student Account via EagleNET

Prior to the start of the quarter/semester, an “All-Inclusive Textbook Fee” will be added to your EWU student account. The amount of the “All-Inclusive Textbook Fee” will depend on the material being used in your course(s). You may pay the “All-Inclusive Textbook Fee” by paying-off all charges on your EWU student account.

Access Through Canvas

Our goal with All-Inclusive is to give students access to their course material on the First Day the quarter/semester starts. You will access your required course material digitally, either through the left-hand menu of your course Canvas page on your “My Textbooks” tab, or through a courseware link provided by your instructor. Students who remain opted in to All-Inclusive will have access to the course material for the duration of the quarter/semester.

Deciding If You Should Opt Out

Participating in All-Inclusive for your course is not mandatory, and you do have the option to opt-out, however, by opting-out you will lose access to the course material and competitive pricing, and you will have to purchase the required course material on your own. If you opt-out before the opt-out deadline, or if you drop the class within the first 10 days of school, the “All-Inclusive Textbook Fee” will be automatically refunded on your EWU student account. Please allow 3-5 business days for the refund to reflect on your EWU student account.

*Please consult with your professor before deciding to opt-out.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is the All-Inclusive Program (AI)?

The All-Inclusive Program (AI) is a new initiative in the textbook industry that converts books into digital, interactive content. Students in courses that participate in AI will have access to their digital course material by the First Day of the quarter/semester and at an exclusive price.

How do I access the digital course material?

The digital course material under AI will be accessed through Canvas. If your instructor has chosen to participate in the program, you will be notified via email, two weeks prior to the start of the quarter/semester, with instructions on how to view the course material and how to opt-out.

Do I need to purchase anything from the Eagle Store or publisher's website?

No. Since the digital course material will be available before the start of the quarter/semester on Canvas or through a link given to you by your instructor you do not need to purchase anything from the Eagle Store or publisher’s website to gain access. A charge, however, will be placed on your EWU student account for each respective AI course.

Since I have access to the AI digital course material on Canvas, is it free? Did someone pay for it?

It may appear to be free since all students registered in an AI course will have full access to their course materials before the start of the quarter/semester. However, an “All-Inclusive Textbook Fee” will be added to your EWU student account after you register for the course. You do have the option to opt-out if you wish to.

How do I pay for my course material under AI?

There are multiple ways to pay for the “All-Inclusive Textbook Fee”.

  1. Since the “All-Inclusive Textbook Fee” is placed on your EWU student account, you can pay the charge as you pay-off all charges on your EWU student account. You can make online payments to your EWU student account by logging into your EagleNET and going to the “Student Account” tab and “Pay My Bill” tab.

Is there a due date to pay off my “All-Inclusive Textbook Fee”?

Since the charge is on your EWU student account, the payment deadline for the “All-Inclusive Textbook Fee” follows the EWU payment deadline. If you have not made payment arrangements for charges on your EWU student account, any unpaid charges will eventually become a hold.

How much will I pay for my digital course material under AI?

The price varies depending on the course material chosen by the instructor. However, the price of the digital material through AI is lower than purchasing directly from the publisher. The price of the digital course material through AI can be up to 70% cheaper than printed materials.

Does my “All-Inclusive Textbook Fee” ever change?

Prices for “All-Inclusive Textbook Fee” are subject to change. Price changes occur only when updates or adjustments are made to curriculum materials by the instructor.

How do I opt-out?

You may use the personalized link in your “Welcome Email” that you received two weeks prior to the start of the quarter/semester to your EWU email or through your “My Textbooks” tab on Canvas.

I opted-out but would like to opt back in. Would this be possible?

If you opted-out during the opt-out period, lost access to the course material, and would now want to opt back in, please contact the Eagle Store at and they will reinstate it for you.

I did not opt-out, but I did not access any of the course material. Will I still be billed?

Yes. All students who are enrolled in an AI course are considered part of the program. You will still be charged for the course material even if you do not access it, because access is granted to all students by the First Day of instruction. If you won’t be using the course material and would like to have the charge refunded on your account, you must opt-out before the deadline.

I forgot to opt-out and missed the deadline. Can I still get a refund?

After the opt-out deadline has passed, refunds will not be given.

If I dropped the course, will I receive a refund for the “All-Inclusive Textbook Fee”?

If you dropped the course before the add/drop deadline, you will receive a refund for the “All-Inclusive Textbook Fee”.

I have further questions that were not addressed. Who do I contact?
